Newcastle United predicted starting XI & subs v PSG as trio handed Champions League call-up

Newcastle United predicted starting XI v Paris Saint-Germain with only a limited amount of senior players available to Eddie Howe.

Newcastle United are back in Champions League action this evening as they take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes (kick-off 8pm).

Eddie Howe's men must avoid defeat in the French capital to try and keep their hopes of qualifying for the last 16 alive but if they are to get a result, then they'll have to do it the hard way.

Incredibly, the Magpies are without 14 senior players, with that number rising to 16 if you include under-21s duo Amadou Diallo and Alex Murphy, who both came off the bench in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Chelsea at St James' Park.

Just 15 first-team players have made the trip to Paris along with youngsters Ben Parkinson, Michael Ndiweni and James Huntley included to help make up the numbers.

Indeed, the only player to return from the win versus Chelsea is Lewis Hall, who was ineligible to face his former club.

Prior to that, Hall had started back-to-back against Borussia Dortmund and AFC Bournemouth. Will he be recalled to the line-up against PSG?
