Lewis Miley will not kick a ball for Newcastle United again this season, according to reports.

His composure on the ball and eye for a pass earned rave reviews, with the Magpies seemingly plucking the midfielder from nowhere during their injury crisis. However, Miley succumbed to a back problem while on international duty with England under-20s.
The Daily Mail claim Miley is set to sit out for the final six games of the season to ensure a full recovery. Newcastle could recall the youngster but are keen not to aggravate the injury.
Elliot Anderson provides the finest example of not wanting to rush a prospect back from a back injury prematurely. A stress fracture suffered in the reverse fixture with Crystal Palace caused the midfielder to 21 games despite initially being assessed as a minor concern.
