Toon ‘pushing’ for Gallagher
Newcastle United are “pushing hard” to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loain in the coming days, according to Luke Edwards.
The Magpies are understood to still be in the market for attack-minded recruits, and are eager on taking the 22-year-old to Tyneside for a temporary stint.

Hide AdWriting on his personal Twitter account, Edwards said: “Told Newcastle United pushing hard for Gallagher on loan from Chelsea after landing Isak from Real Sociedad.
“I have to be honest I have no idea where this leaves Pedro deal now. Some saying deal remains close, others saying Watford have rejected final bid already this week. We shall see”.
Dubravka offer detailed
Manchester United have tabled an “official proposal” to Newcastle for Martin Dubravka, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are understood to be in the market for a deputy goalkeeper to provide cover for David de Gea, and are said to be eyeing a swoop for the 33-year-old Toon star.

Hide AdAs per Romano’s update, Man United’s offer is for a loan move until June 2023, with the addition of an option-to-buy clause discussed between the two clubs, worth around £5 million.
Newcastle will decide whether to accept the bid “soon”.
Magpies eye Kudus
Newcastle United are one of four Premier League clubs interested in completing a deal for Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to GhanaSoccerNet.
Alongside the Magpies, Everton, Tottenham, and Leeds United are understood to be monitoring the player’s situation, although that interest is yet to translate into any official offer for the 22-year-old.
It is also claimed that one of the four clubs have asked for a character reference on the Ghanian from his former club FC Nordsjaelland.
