Newcastle United v Chelsea early team news as 14 ruled out and eight are doubts
The latest injury news ahead of the Premier League fixture between Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Newcastle United and Chelsea will both hope to return to winning ways when they meet at St James Park in the first game after the international break.
The Magpies suffered their first Premier League defeat since early September last weekend when a Dominic Solanke brace condemned Eddie Howe's side to a 2-0 defeat against his former club, Bournemouth.
Chelsea were at least able to go into the two-week break on a positive note after the Blues emerged with a point from a monumental clash with reigning Premier League champions Manchester City as the two sides shared eight goals on a dramatic day at Stamford Bridge.
All eyes are firmly on Saturday's meeting at St James Park but both Magpies manager Howe and Chelsea counterpart Pochettino are both contending with a whole host of injury concerns and are awaiting news on the recovery of a number of key players.
