Newcastle United WAG reveals she's finally 'moved in' with 'love of her life' cup hero after seven years

March was some month, wasn’t it? A Carabao Cup win was the dream ticket for Newcastle United fans, coaches and players alike - but for one of them, it was an extra special time in the calendar.

Not only did Fabian Schar welcome a lovely shiny medal to hang on the mantlepiece, and pen a new one-year contract at St James’ Park - much deserved we might add - he also had the joy of seeing long-time girlfriend Alexandra Munger finally move in with him on Tyneside.

Munger took to her Instagram account to reveal that she’s finally been able to move over to the North East after seven years of living apart. She also seems to be loving life in the region too, having said she’s taken advantage of the coastline, with lots of picnics on the beaches.

In the images she shared, they show Schar and Munger sharing a romantic moment on holiday, snaps of NUFC’s Carabao Cup win and celebrations on the Town Moor, as well as shots in Dubai, and Tynemouth’s beaches.

In the post, she said: "I never thought March would be so great. A month full of love, joy, experiences, simply pure happiness.

She continued: "Moving in with the love of my life (after almost 7 years of long-distance), spring has started, meeting my best friends in London, my love winning the Carabao Cup, Dubai with my mama and papa, celebrating the win on the streets with my other best friend and 300,000 people, picknicking a lot by the sea, lots of sport and self care, fabi signed a new contract for NUFC, aaand now I have def. to focus on my ph.D again."

She finishes the post by saying: "This month has shown me that good always wins."

Who is Fabian Schar’s girlfriend, Alexandra Munger?

Alexandra Munger is the girlfriend of Switzerland and Newcastle United defender Schar. And as mentioned in the above piece, she has recently relocated to Tyneside to live with the Carabao Cup hero, who she has been in a relationship with since before he joined the Magpies. Schar joined United in the summer of 2018, coming in on a cut-price deal from Deportivo La Coruna.

Munger, like Schar, is an academic, being a Master of Law, while also currently studying for a PhD from the University of Zurich.
