Newcastle United WAGs share cute dog video at popular city park as stars strike off-field bond
Two Newcastle United stars have struck an unlikely bond off the field - and it’s come via their other halves, and their little furry friends.
Sven Botman’s other half Chana Kesselaar and Sandro Tonali’s soon-to-be wife are always active on social media, sharing a window into the lives of what it’s like to be a football WAG. Whether it be fashion tips, make up, family shots or pics the with Newcastle United players, their Instagram is full of colour when it comes to their lives on, and away from, Tyneside.

And their latest updates have included a lot of videos and snaps of their four-legged friends. In the video, as seen above, shared by Tonali’s other half, it shows both her dog and Botman’s playing in the leafy undergrowth on the banks of what looks like Jesmond Dene - a regular walking spot for Botman and Kesselaar. Pastore is heard calling for the two cute pups and they come bounding up the track, much to her amusement. The video was shared to her Instagram story.
Pastore and Tonali are set to wed, having announced their engagement earlier this year, while Botman and Kesselaar welcomed their first child into the world last year.
While Tonali is currently star of the show for the Magpies after his remarkable winner against Brentford on Wednesday night in the Premier League at St James’ Park, Botman has endured a frustrating season to date, with knee problems keeping him out for most of the current campaign. While Tonali is expected to again start at the heart of the United midfield when Eddie Howe’s Champions League-chasing Magpies head to relegation-threatened Leicester City, Botman is in the midst of recovery from a knee operation that had been expected to keep him out for the rest of the season - although, there is now hope the player could return sooner.
