Newcastle United made it six wins out of seven in the Premier League to climb to third in the top flight table with a win against Southampton.
The 4-1 triumph was achieved thanks to goals from Miguel Almiron, as ever, Chris Wood, Joe Willock and Bruno Guimaraes.

Romain Perraud grabbed a consolation for the Saints, who drop into the bottom three.
And the contrasting fortunes of the sides has been celebrated by United co-owner Jamie Reuben, who has a 10% stake in the football club alongside Amanda Staveley’s PCP Capital Partners and majority shareholders, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
