It’s understood the frontman is keen to leave Goodison Park whether the Toffees, one point adrift of safety in the Premier League, remain in the top flight or not.

United are in the hunt for a Premier League-ready striker in the summer market, with much of their expected budget set to be spent on strengthening a position which has been severly weakened this season due to the long-term injury suffered by Callum Wilson.
