Despite their heavy fixture schedule and a long list of injuries, Newcastle United have not had to rely on the inconsistent system to pick up points in the top flight and Eddie Howe's largely cool manner has sheltered the club from the type of tirade being perfected by managers such as Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta - who left St James' Park fuming earlier this term.
