There are five Premier League football stadiums where the average price of a pint is cheaper than at Newcastle United home ground St. James' Park.
The North East is known for being a cheap place to drink compared to many other areas in the UK and Magpies fans are certainly blessed by a large number of bars in close range to the ground.
However, five clubs in the league are offering a cheaper price for the average pint, including both Manchester giants. The most expensive stadium to enjoy a beer at in the English top flight might not come as a surprise, although just how much fans fork out will have eyes on springs.
The research has been conducted by betting firm OLBG and includes home capacity, away capacity, walk to the stadium and away day rating too.
