Newcastle United are now fully focused on their bid to end their long wait for silverware with all eyes on next weekend’s Carabao Cup Final meeting with Manchester United and their attempts to return to European competition by securing a top six finish in the Premier League.
But there is still serious attention being shown towards the next step in the development in their squad and several targets are being monitored ahead of the summer transfer window.
