While Howe didn’t enjoy a ‘new manager bounce’ as such - winning just one of his opening nine games, the form in 2022 has been nothing short of remarkable.
With ten wins, two draws and three defeats - a run bettered only by title-chasing Liverpool - United have surged away from the drop zone to currently sit ninth in the table.
