After a hugely disappointing start to the 2021/22 campaign that saw Newcastle United go without a win until December, the Magpies completely turned it around in the new year.

The Premier League side have been a completely different team under Eddie Howe, claiming points off the likes of Man City, Arsenal and Brighton, while any possibility of relegation now looks to be a distant memory.

United ended the previous campaign in eleventh place, while this season many have predicted them to claim a European spot.

Following their impressive 4-1 win over Fulham at the weekend, the Toon now only sit three points from fourth place.
