The latest data shows where Newcastle United’s home crowd sit in the Premier League attendance table this season.

After a first full summer under Eddie Howe and the new owners, Newcastle United have enjoyed an unsurprisingly positive start to the new Premier League campaign.

The Magpies currently sit sixth in the league table and have lost only one of their opening nine matches, while they remain unbeaten at St. James’ Park since a defeat to Liverpool in April.

The whole of the city has continued to get behind their club and have been rewarded with some exceptional performances and plenty of goals.

The Newcastle fans remain some of the best in the country and they show that week in week out as they turn up in their tens of thousands to cheer on the team.

But how does the Toon’s average home attendance compare to the rest of the Premier League? We’ve taken a look at the latest data from Transfermarkt to find out, as well as bringing together some of this season’s best fan photos from all 20 clubs.
