RuPaul’s Drag Race: Werq The World tour confirmed for Newcastle: Date and ticket information

One of the world’s most popular reality TV franchises, Ru Paul’s Drag Race, has announced a huge world tour with one stop in Newcastle as part of a 12 night arena leg of the tour in the UK.

All queens will be known from their time on the American iteration of the hit show and some high quality looks and performances are expected with Season 12 Winner Jaida Essence Hall and Season 10 winner Aquaria making appearances. Rosé, Angeria, Bosco, Daya Betty, Kandy Muse and Ginger Minj from recent seasons will also be part of the show.

Ben Hatton, Director of Theatre Touring for Cuffe and Taylor, said: “These shows will be exciting, cheeky, outrageous and hugely entertaining – everything you’d expect from the worldwide phenomenon that is RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“We are very excited to be presenting the full tour across the UK and Ireland and look forward to seeing these fabulous queens sashay into packed arenas for 12 nights of fun.”

In addition to Newcastle, the tour will be stopping off in Cardiff, Leeds,Manchester, London, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dublin, Sheffield, Liverpool and Brighton.

All dates will run across October with the production coming to Newcastle Arena on Friday, October 13.

Tickets for the fifth iteration of the UK tour will go on sale at 10am on Friday, March 10. They will be available from the website of event organisers Cuffe and Taylor.
