Opening date revealed for Scream for Pizza’s Quayside cafe

Scream for Pizza has announced the opening date for its newest venture on Newcastle Quayside.

The popular pizza purveyors are set to open an New York pizza and ice cream parlour this weekend (September 4 and 5).

After starting out with a food truck, Scream for Pizza gained a cult following for its Neapolitan pizza.

The business opened the first restaurant in Sandyford in 2019, though the distinctive pizza vans can still be found at foodie events across the region and can be hired for parties.

The new venue will be open in the daytime and will serve pizza by the slice and ice creams which they have been teasing on their social media.

Opening at 8am the I Scream For Pizza menu includes breakfast sandwiches served until 11am.

Opening hours are set to be 8am to 8pm Wednesday to Sunday.

Taking to Instagram to announce the opening date, the Scream For Pizza team said: “Please come down and support! This is a new concept for us and our lovely team so please be patient while we get in to out groove.

“We can’t wait to welcome you all to our slice of NY in the NE!”
