A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Starbeck Deli, a takeaway at 7 - 9 Starbeck Avenue, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on March 24, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 302 takeaways with ratings, 192 (64%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
