11 of the best deals to feast upon during Newcastle Restaurant Week
From bottomless pizza to bowling with burgers and cheap tapas to chain restauant deals
Tummies are rumbling and mouths are drooling across Tyneside as NE1 Restaurant Week returns to Newcastle.
The scheme sees 112 venues across the city slash prices and put on special menus in a bid to tempt Geordies out and find new customers.
Everything from the city's most upmarket restaurants to fast food joints take part in Restaurant Week which begins on Monday, August 8 and lasts until Sunday, August 14.
This month's event will be the 21st edition of the longstanding event with deals ranging between £10 and £20 per head.
Ben Whitfield, Director of Communications at NE1 said: “We are delighted to be celebrating NE1’s Newcastle Restaurant Week for the 21st time, an important milestone and one we will commemorate in style with over 100 participating restaurants, making it one of the biggest in the event’s history.
“It is no surprise that Restaurant Week is such a winning formula. It is a great way to celebrate the city’s thriving restaurant scene, which has played a huge part in the city’s bounce-back post-Covid and contributes so much to the vibrancy and economy of the city.
“The event always generates tremendous excitement within the restaurant community and the wider public. People know and love the event, it is quick and simple for restaurants to adopt and run and easy for diners to buy into."
With so much choice this year, Geordies may have too many options for their own good.
Not to worry, NewcastleWorld is on hand to pick the 11 most exciting deals to feast upon for NE1 Restaurant Week.
