Ant and Dec wear Newcastle United strips in teaser post for Saturday Night Takeaway

Iconic Geordie presenting duo, Ant and Dec shared a teaser reel to their Instagram account for their show Saturday Night Takeaway.

The Newcastle-born pair first met when starring in the childrens tv drama series, Byker Grove. They then went on to have an incredibly successful career as a duo, in the entertainment industry.

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway first arrived on our screens in 2022. It ended in 2009, before a triumphant return in 2013.

In the clip for their upcoming episode, Ant and Dec shared teaser images, which included the Geordie pair wearing full Newcastle United strips.

Other images in the reel include a photograph of themselves with fellow presenter Claudia Winkleman, another of them sitting down to dinner with other presenters, a few photographs of the pair dressed up in various costumes and many more.

The post was captioned: “Warming you up for the weekend with a mini midweek montage #SaturdayNightTakeaway”, alongside a hand holding a phone emoji and the eyes emoji.

Fans of the Geordie presenters took to the comments, to share their love for the pair and to compliment them on the Newcastle United kit photo. One person wrote: “I love you two in your Newcastle shirts as I’m a Newcastle United supporter two can’t wait for Saturday night takeaway this Saturday”, while another simply wrote: “Up the toon”.
