Christmas is right around the corner so here are some of the Dogs Trust dogs searching for a home just in time.
The dogs are looking across the North and North East for a family from centres such as Darlington, Leeds and Cumbria.
But remember, a dog is forever and not just for Christmas.
Here are the 13 of the gorgeous pups in need of a home.

5. Ludo (Great Dane Cross, eight years old)
Ludo is a lovely lad who is on the search for his forever home. He is a polite boy when meeting new dogs and would happily share his home with another pooch who may be up for some play time. He can live with secondary school aged children who are 14 and over. Once settled into his home Ludo will be ok to be left for a few hours while his family pop out. Ludo has a great love for food, and this is when his cheeky personality really starts to shine through. So, when it comes to mealtimes, he will be best placed behind a baby gate so that you can enjoy your meal. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Rolo (Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) Cross, 6-12 months)
Rolo is super clever lad who is in his element when keeping his mind active. He'll be a dream to work with if you have a passion for dog training! After learning some new tricks he loves to play, especially with his raggy toys. For his downtime he enjoys settling down with a long lasting chew. Rolo is an amazing lad and with someone to guide him in the right direction, will flourish. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Paisley (Basenji Cross, one-years-old)
A stunning little lass, only 1 year old (approx.) We think that she is a crossbreed with some strong Basenji looks about her, Paisley is an absolute sweetheart, she is loving and playful. She is instantly friendly when she meets new people and walks straight over with a happy waggy tail to get a fuss. She loves cuddles, playing with soft toys and We have found that she likes treats and this will be a great way to gain her trust and begin training. Paisley walks nicely on the lead and is aware of where you walk, moving away to ensure her little toes don’t get trodden on. She has met cattle out on her walk and not shown much interest in them, she is fine walking beside a busy road with all kinds of traffic, so a rural or town home could be her new residence She’s a little pocket rocket and would benefit from a secure garden, where she can have her zoomies and stretch her legs. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

8. Toffee (Trailhound Cross, seven-years-old)
Toffee has been waiting to find his special someone for a while now and in that time he’s become a firm favourite of the staff. This is due to his fun-loving nature and zest for life! In true Hound style he does have a voice and likes to use it, but a true Hound lover will be used to this! He enjoys learning new things, so once he's built a good relationship you'll find him to be a fun and interactive lad. He is super affectionate and loves a good bum scratch! He also gives the BEST bear hugs! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
