Dogs Trust currently has so many gorgeous pups up for adoption across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria, Leeds and Edinburgh rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 13 of the dogs searching for a forever home this May.

9. Plum (Bulldog cross, two-five years)
Plum is on the lookout for a home that will have people around for her while she settles into her new home. She can live with children aged 8 and above who don't mind a dog potentially jumping up at them. She could possibly share her home with another well mannered pooch pending a successful introduction before heading home. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

10. Rebel (Labrador, one year)
Rebel is a lovely young lad who is looking for a patient and understanding family who will be committed to helping him settle into his home and continue his training. He can be worried with some forms of handling so a home with older teens (16+) will be best suited for him. Rebel can be a little nervous when meeting dogs and does have the potential to live with another calm, confident dog pending a successful dog intro. Rebel will need to have someone from his family around to keep him company and introduce any time spent alone gradually. Adopters of Rebel will need to come and visit him a couple times before we start the process of home visits. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

11. Ralfie (Weimaraner cross, one-two years)
Ralfie is big lad with a big personality to match! He loves keeping active and having plenty of fun and games. He’d like a family who are enthusiastic about dog training as he does need to work on the basics but also learn lots more to keep his mind working too. He enjoys exploring out on his walks but is eager, so can be strong on the lead. Ralfie is an amazing lad and will make a for a very rewarding project for someone fully committed to him. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

12. Harley (Great Dane Cross, 11 months)
Harley is an 11-month old Great Dane crossbreed. Handsome Harley is a gentle giant with the sweetest personality. Harley is looking for a home with children aged 14 years and above and no other pets. Harley is still a young lad and would love to have owners who are keen to continue his training. Harley can be vocal when he see's other dogs and is looking for owners who are understanding of this and can continue his socialisation at a gradual pace. He would prefer to have slow introductions to other dogs before heading out on walks together. As he is a big lad, he can be very strong on the lead and so is looking for owners who have owned large breeds before and can manage his strength. Harley absolutely loves his toys, especially soft squeakies or footballs, and would like to have a garden where he can play and stretch those big legs! | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Edinburgh
