The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.
Here are the nine adorable pups searching for a forever home.
1. Mini & Peppa (Yorkshire Terriers, 14 & 7 years)
This adorable pair have been together for a while and we’d love to see them find a home together. They do enjoy a more calmer lifestyle where they can have a moment to adjust to their surroundings. 2. Greg (Crossbreed, 2-5 years)
Greg does have a sensitive side but is really sweet once he’s given time to make friends and does build up a strong bond with you. He’d like to have lots of positive experiences with his new family to help boost his confidence with formal handling. He likes to play with his toys and is happy for you to join in the fun. He’s a big fan of his food but is polite at taking treats (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
3. Milly (Parson Russell Cross, 8+ years)
Milly will just be the most adorable pal for someone as that is what she is looking for...a best buddy. She is housetrained and happy to entertain herself for a little while at home. She isn’t keen on other dogs being up close to her but is ok with them at a distance. She loves attention, and will make an easy going pal for someone. She still enjoys a walk (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
4. Rex (Lurcher, 8+ years)
Rex is a super sweet gentle lad who loves a fuss. He’s shown a little bit of interest in toys but would much rather be with you. He’s a lovely easy going affectionate golden oldie who is going to make a lovely companion for somebody! He loves to lay on the foster carers sofa, and enjoys a good fuss (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
