Drag Race UK series four winner, Danny Beard will be heading to Newcastle this summer to perform an exciting show you will not want to miss.
The 30-year-old multi-talented performer has worked in the drag and cabaret industry for over ten years, appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2016, and had a cameo role in Hollyoaks this year.

Hide AdOn Wednesday, August 16, Danny will perform a show extravaganza at Northumbria University’s Northern Stage, alongside a five-piece LGBTQ+ band who Danny describes as “incredible, talented artists”.
Danny Beard gave NewcastleWorld an exclusive interview ahead of their upcoming show in the city, to discuss their excitement for the performance and what the future holds for the Liverpudlian star.

Describing their show, Danny said it is “next level”, and to “expect the unexpected”. The show will consist of comedy, music and more. Danny said: “The band is the backbone of the show, the comedy is the glue and the songs are the cherry on top!”

Hide AdAccording to Danny who describes themselves as a “sassy, shady, singing, cartoon clown”, there is something for everyone in the show, with big songs from musicals and the likes of Queen and Adele accompanying the comedy aspects.
Danny’s also expressed excitement about performing in Newcastle, as they said: “I’ve worked in Newcastle for years and it means the world to return. To be able to give Newcastle a show like this, it really means a lot!
“Me and geordies go together like god knows what, I love geordies! The great thing about Newcastle is that everybody is up for a laugh, and you know when you gig in the city that you are gonna have a good night.”
As well as the show, Danny is looking forward to an exciting 2023, with their own TV show coming soon and other exciting TV projects lined up, alongside live festivals. Danny said: “I may even make a sneaky return to a soap, you never know!”
