Little Mix member, Jade Thirlwall returned to her hometown of South Shields, to celebrate her 30th birthday.

Jade turned 30-years-old yesterday, on Boxing Day. Although she had a fancy dress party earlier in the month in London, Jade returned home for the actual day, to spend with her family.

Jade was joined by her boyfriend, former Rizzle Kicks member Jordan Stephens, and the pair spent time with Jade’s loved ones over the festive period as well as her birthday.

On the day of her birthday, Jade took part (as she has done for many years) in a charity Boxing Day Dip, to raise money for Cancer Connections, of which she is a patron of. Jade dressed in an Elf costume as she ran into the cold sea along with many other people daring to dip for the cause.

Standing on the sand at South Shields beach before the dip, Jade was presented with huge silver number balloons (a three and a zero, of course), and a bunch of flowers. Everyone in attendance sang happy birthday to Jade.

After the dip, Jade headed to South Shields football club, to support and watch the team play against Whitby Town. Jade is an Honorary President of the football club, and watched from a box. She posted to Instagram stories, sharing the result of 4-2, with South Shields coming out winners of the match.

Finally, Jade ended her birthday in Arbeia, the bar she owns on Ocean Road in South Shields. She watched local band Two Metres Apart perform on the stage dressed as Jade herself in her fancy dress costume, complete with purple wigs and nipple pasties.

Jade posted a clip of the group performing alongside crying laughing emojis at the costumes. In a clip posted to Instagram by another account, Jade can be seen joining the band in singing the 1995 Oasis track, Don’t Look Back In Anger.
