Newcastle Christmas Market 2022: Gallery of menus, prices and stalls

With the cost of living crisis still hitting hard, visitors to the Newcastle Christmas Market won’t be too surprised to see slightly higher prices than usual.

The streets of the city have once again been filled with festive huts and the smell of good food as the Newcastle Christmas Market 2022 arrives.

Traders have set up shop all around Monument in the heart of Newcastle to flog street food, quirky presents and Christmas nik-naks in a tradition that has become a mainstay for the region.

After success in previous years, this year's edition of the Christmas Market has been extended. As well as those famous locations, it will run along Grainger Street, the top of Grey Street and even into Old Eldon Square.

Organisers have endeavoured to showcase local businesses in the stalls with bespoke jewellery, eco-friendly beauty products, clothing, Churros, homemade chutneys and much more all coming from the North East.

With the cost of living still hitting hard and many local businesses fighting hard for survival, it won't take any particularly beady eyes to notice that prices seem a little higher this year.

Take a look at the gallery below to explore the food menus available, how much a meal is going to set you back and what the Newcastle Christmas Market 2022 looks like in general.
