‘Our Brazilian Geordies’: Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes throws Toy Story-themed party

Bruno Guimaraes and wife Ana Lidia Martins Guimaraes celebrated their son’s first birthday in style with an incredible Toy Story-themed party.

The Brazilian family shared photos of the bash all over Instagram in honour of their son with the midfielder posting a family photo with the caption: “One year of the best thing that could’ve happened to us.”

The couple are currently expecting their second child.

Newcastle supporters were quick to share their love and well wishes for the family with many commenting ‘Our Brazilian Geordies.’

Joelinton and Miguel Almiron were in attendance with their own families, with Joelinton’s wife Thays sharing a photo of her and Ana alongside the words: “Us and these boys all together.”

Guimaraes has recently extended his contract at Newcastle United until 2028 and when the deal was announced the 25-year-old took to social media to say he has ‘‘never felt so loved as I am here!!”

He and Ana got married in the summer back in Brazil before returning to Tyneside for the 23/24 season.

Ana herself has shared her love for the city numerous times and after Guimaraes’ contract extension was announced she took to Instagram to share her love for the city and the club.

“Feels like home to us,” she wrote.
