Perrie Edwards reportedly signing with Beyonce’s management

South Shields born Perrie Edwards, of Little Mix fame plans to launch her solo career soon.

Perrie, alongside fellow Geordie - Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson were formed on The X Factor in 2011 before becoming the first group to win the show. They then embarked on an incredibly successful 11 year career, achieving five UK number one singles, a number one album, and three BRIT awards.

Jesy departed the group in 2020, and Little Mix continued as a trio before announcing a temporary hiatus to focus on solo projects in 2022.

Now, it has been reported that 29-year-old Perrie may be signing a solo deal with Columbia Records, who are known to manage huge superstars in the music industry, such as Beyonce and Harry Styles.

Fans took to the comments of an Instagram post from Capital FM to share their excitement for the Geordie star, while others commented that she could follow in the footsteps of Harry Styles and his global success after One Direction.

Jade and Leigh-Anne are also set to release solo music soon. It was reported that Jade will be dropping her surname and be releasing music using only her first name. She also caused speculation on future collaborations after sharing an image of herself and well-known DJ Jax Jones in a studio.

There have also been reports that Leigh-Anne has signed with Warner Music, who release music for the likes of Dua Lipa.
