Police have issued an urgent appeal to the public to help find a missing Newcastle man whose disappearance is 'highly out of character'.
Keith Batey, 64, was last seen by his family at around 11 pm on Tuesday at his home address on Westway, Throckley, and has not been heard from since.

Police say the disappearance is highly out of character for Keith and his family and officers are growing increasingly concerned.
Keith is described as a white male, of medium build, 5 ft 8 in in height, clean-shaven with a shaved head. He is believed to have been wearing a black sweatshirt and blue joggers. He is understood to be driving a purple Ford Fiesta registration YG08 URA.
