Rosie will be following in the footsteps of her husband, who participated in the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing. Despite having no dancing experience, Chris reached the semi-finals and finished in fourth place.

Since Chris’s appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, many fans have been urging the BBC to sign up Rosie for the show. Rosie has previous experience as a dancer, having worked professionally as a performer.

The announcement was made via the Strictly Come Dancing Instagram page. A video revealing Rosie was posted, alongside the caption: “It’s time to unwrap our first Christmas Special celeb! Welcome fab-yule-lous presenter and podcaster Rosie Ramsey to Strictly.”

Fans took to the comments to express their excitement. One person wrote: “Omg! Best news ever! My favourite Rosie on my favourite show!” Many fans also commented that they wished she was on the main version of the show.
