The two sides will clash on Wednesday evening and parts of the city centre will close roads to accomodate the crowds.

After a long Champions League group stage campaign Eddie Howe's Newcastle United squad go into the final matchday knowing a win will keep the European campaign running.

A draw or win will send the club into the next round of either the Champions League or Europa League, depending on whether United finish in second or third in the group.

It is also the final chance for North East residents to get a taste of European fan culture and, after PSG and Borussia Dortmund fans marched through the city centre before games earlier in the season, Milan fans are expected to do the same.

The match with kick off at 8pm on Wednesday, December 13.

Newcastle City Council has confirmed temporary road closures will impact Blackett Street, Leazes Park Road, Morden Street, Leazes Terrace, Percy Street and Terrace Place between 5pm and 6:15pm, although these are approximate times.

This is in addition to the regular matchday road closures will impact Strawberry Place, St James Street and Terrace Place. These will be in place between 5pm and 11pm.
