Sam Fender's two shows at St James Park are just a matter of days away now and we can’t wait for the two shows!

Anyone getting ready to head to the home of Newcastle United for the two nights should be aware of the latest travel advice, times and full list of banned items but, with this being Fender’s first outdoor headline set in Newcastle, there is always a chance the weather can play a part.

The Met Office’s weekend forecast is predicting impressive weather across the weekend with gig-goers on Saturday expected to see the best of the summer conditions.

Friday, June 9

Friday is expected to see a cloudy morning with the sun trying to break through as fans will start arriving in Newcastle. When doors open at 4pm the skies are expected to brighten up further before clouds return from around 6pm.

Overcast skies are expected to continue throughout the night with afternoon highs of 13°C falling to 11°C as fans will be leaving the stadium following the show.

Saturday, June 10

The second day of live music will see a much warmer day with Tyneside seeing highs of 17°C which are expected at around 4pm when doors reopen at St James Park. These temperatures may fall to 13°C while fans are in the stadium.

Saturday’s gig is expected to be slightly sunnier than the day before with clouds only expected to return from 10pm.
