There has been a lot of speculation around Allan Saint-Maximin’s future at Newcastle United.

Allan Saint-Maximin has hinted at his future at Newcastle United amid speculation and fears he’s set to leave the club in the summer.

Alongside a photo of him and his children, he said: ‘Never forget who was there when no one else was. Time passes, memories fade, feelings change, people leave, but hearts never forget. Making history,’ alongside a black and white heart.

In posting this to social media, fans and Maxi-lovers inundated his comment section with love and pleas to stay.

However as the summer break settles into its first few days the winger has hinted at his return to Tyneside in August. On his Instagram story, Maxi shared a video of himself running on a treadmill in his full Newcastle United kit- surely a sign of his love and dedication to the Toon.

One fan commented “This man cannot be leaving, surely, right?” while another said “I refuse to believe anything other than him staying.”

Earlier this week Eddie Howe said Saint-Maximin’s future is entirely up to the winger himself: “That will be dictated by Maxi himself. He has so much ability and he’s such an important player for us when he’s at his very best fitness-wise. He’s unique, there’s no one like him in the Premier League.

“You saw he’s a huge transitional threat today, his end product was there so really pleased. We just hope he comes back really fit and ready to do well in what is a massive season for him personally.”
