Callum Wilson has admitted he was in love with Newcastle United before even arriving at St. James' Park.
The Magpies striker was pushed to pick the best stadium for atmosphere in the Premier League and didn't hesitate in choosing his current home ground.

However, Wilson admitted that it wasn't just his professional bias showing, saying he had been a long-time admirer of the stadium before arriving on Tyneside.
The striker was speaking on BBC Sounds' The Footballer's Football Podcast alongside West Ham United forward Michail Antonio.
Wilson said: "I liked playing at St James Park even before I came up here as a player, it was always one of my favourites as the atmosphere is always crazy.

"Here or Anfield are the two best stadiums in terms of atmosphere. Tottenham is getting there because it's new and fresh but St. James' Park is the one you know."

Wilson has played against Liverpool at Anfield five times in his career, but only once for Newcastle in an 11-minute cameo during a 3-1 loss last season.
He has netted at the Merseyside stadium, scoring for Bournemouth in the ninth minute during a 2-1 defeat in 2020.
