However, the Newcastle talisman did have some words of caution about the Chelsea defence on this week's episode of The Footballer's Football Podcast, which he hosts alongside West Ham United's Michail Antonio.
The two forwards talked about one Blues defender in particular, the "trash talking" Antonio Rudiger.
Wilson has squared up to the physical centre-back before and remembered how difficult it was.

"Then you think, 'oh, I've met my match here today'.
"He'll give you one, then you'll give him one. He's a good player to have battles against."
Wilson went on to recall how much Rudiger would play mind games on the pitch.
He added: “He always talks on the pitch. He loves trash talking.

Antonio agreed with Wilson's analysis of the defender, adding his own experiences.
The Hammers' man said: “He’s my boy. Such a cool guy. He will literally talk to me during the game. He’ll go, ‘don’t try that, not with me’.
"I knocked it down the line for him, and man is quick, then I’ve gone to shoulder barge him. It was evens, no one lost. He was like, ‘not with me, not with me Mikey!’."

For Antonio, it was getting someone sent off.
Wilson went for a different aspect.
He said: "For me, you don't see much of it, in the English game at least, but it's probably spitting.
"If someone spits at me, my head is flying and I'll go mad.
"There'll be no let-up until we've come to a conclusion for the situation.
"If someone spits, even in any walk of life, it's disgusting and not acceptable.
"On a football pitch, on camera, in front of millions of people, it's a violation."
