Newcastle United stunned the Premier League with an emphatic 8-0 trouncing of Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday afternoon.
An underwhelming start to the top flight season combined with preparations for last week's Tuesday night meeting with AC Milan in the Champions League had some questioning whether the newly promoted Blades could cause an upset as Eddie Howe's Magpies visited Yorkshire last weekend.

It was a slow start to the match and injury to Harvey Barnes proved cause for concern for the Magpies with Eddie Howe forced to hook the winger off early and replace the summer signing with Anthony Gordon.
The former Everton man seized his opportunity and was the catalyst in the Newcastle United goal glut which started with a Sean Longstaff goal in the 21st minute. Defenders Dan Burn and Sven Botman then hit the back of the net to put the side 3-0 up at halftime.
The second half proved more of the same with Callum Wilson, Gordon, Miguel Almiron and Bruno Guimaraes all joining the goalscoring party before Alexander Isak hit the eighth in the 87th minute.

Kieran Trippier is included in the side after his sterling performance, registering three assists as well as a clean sheet against Sheffield United. He's joined by goalscorer Burn in the opposite full-back role.
Youngster Elliot Anderson takes a spot in midfield next to Guimaraes, who is the highest-rated player this week at an impressive 9.7. Gordon is perhaps unlucky to miss out as Manchester City's Phil Foden and Everton's Dwight McNeil make up the rest of the midfield. Callum Wilson also gets a place in the Team of the Week up front.
