Jose Mourinho’s side moved for Lloyd Kelly last week but their advances were swiftly rejected by Newcastle United. As per Mail Online’s Craig Hope, the Turkish giants tabled a £6million bid.
A second offer didn’t arrive and Fenerbahce have since focused their attention on signing Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos. And according to Fabrizio Romano, there has now been a breakthrough with the Brazilian due in Istanbul on Monday evening to finalise an £8.4m switch.

The 26-year-old has made just 13 appearances since joining from AFC Bournemouth on a free transfer last summer.
"Lloyd has not talked to me about leaving the football club,” Howe told reporters on Friday. “He's only just joined and I think there's an understanding from his perspective that he's got to earn the right to play and prove that he deserves to play ahead of other players.
"So he’s been absolutely no issue. He's been great to work with and I knew he would be. He's waiting for his opportunities, so there's no issue with Lloyd at all.

Newcastle are set to keep hold of Kelly, unless a sizeable arrives. Reports in the Italian media claim Howe’s side value Kelly between £15m to £25m.
