Topping the table with a whopping 73,815 average at Old Trafford is Manchester United, who delivered edge-of-your-seat football action throughout the season. The gap between them and second place is quite a jump but West Ham’s 62,460 is also a very impressive figure.

Tottenham Hotspur come in at third, with an average of 61,585, while Arsenal are just behind their neighbours and rivals with a little more than the 60,000 mark.

Newcastle are placed seventh in the table with their average St James’ Park attendance coming in at 52,127, just shy of a consistent full capacity 52,338. They are not far off Liverpool (53,177) and Manchester City (53,249) either. They are also quite a way in front of Aston Villa (41,679) and Chelsea (39,999) who sit behind the Toon in eighth and ninth respectively, while Everton round off the top ten with their 39,232 average.

At the bottom of the table, the club with the lowest figure was Bournemouth, who averaged 10,304. However, it’s a great turnout considering the Vitality Stadium only holds 11,329. This is similar to Brentford, who are second from bottom with a 17,080 average for their 17,250 capacity stadium.
