'Not fair' - Hull City boss calls foul after Newcastle United incident at St James' Park
Newcastle United and Hull City coaching staff clashed during the 2-1 win for Matthias Jaissle’s side at St James’ Park.
Tempers flared between the Newcastle United and Hull City coaching staff following the Magpies’ 2-1 win at St James’ Park.
Newcastle were able to hold on for three points despite being penned in for the majority of the second half by the Tigers.
As Hull pushed for an equaliser, two members of Sergej Jakirovic’s coaching staff were booked by referee Tony Harrington as they clashed with Newcastle’s coaches.

And after the match, Jakirovic approached Newcastle assistant coach Alexander Hauser and had to be held back.
When asked about the conduct of Hull’s coaching staff, Jaissle said: “I cannot say too much, but I think there were some comments over the line, but this is sometimes football, I hope they shake their hands afterwards and everything is good again.”

Jarkirovic was also asked about the incidents on the touchline during the match, in which he appealed to tell members of Newcastle’s coaching staff to ‘shut up’.
“Their staff provoked Ollie McBurnie, and I’m there to protect him,” Jarkirovic said. “I have my team and I’m speaking with my players.”
When asked about what happened at the end of the match, the Hull boss added: “Nothing, what happened on the pitch, stay on the pitch. Some disagreement, but this is normal.
“If you saw, they're standing with three or four people there, we're standing with three or four, but it's not that we are complaining on the referee. We are trying to give some instructions to our players. I cannot see everything, so I have my staff also.
