Jacob Murphy seems to have named this Newcastle United era in his trademark joker way

Let’s face it. It’s not a Newcastle United game without Jacob Murphy making us all laugh.

Game after game, his consistent and incredible performances have been matched by some hilarious and somewhat ridiculous shenanigans (or if you prefer- s***housery.)

On the pitch there’s been his infamous and sassy waving off of a Southampton player, the cheeky check of his watch after ten Hag’s time-wasting claims and now the absolute corker of a reaction to his wonder-strike yesterday against Spurs.

This behaviour has translated to social media as well. With him bestowing hysterical nicknames on his teammates and leaving silly comments under their posts (Starboy Malfoy we’re looking at you.)

Now he seems to have extended his talent for nicknames beyond individual players.

NUFC posted to Instagram a photo of Isak and Murphy after the wingers awe-inspiring second goal complete with a quote he gave after the match.

Murphy said: “When the confidence is flowing and you’re feeling juicy you just think ‘I’ll strike from here!’”

So, naturally, underneath his club’s post he commented ‘Juicy Mags,’ which seems to have sent fans into an uproar of laughter.
