'Shut them up' - Newcastle United star hits out after draw v AFC Bournemouth
Newcastle United came from 2-0 down against Bournemouth to draw and maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Jacob Ramsey wants to “shut up” the doubters after a wave of negativity surrounded Newcastle United in pre-season.

Heading into the new Premier League campaign, the Magpies had been heavily tipped to struggle following the departure of Eddie Howe as head coach, and talismanic trio Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes.
Concerns had also been raised over United’s summer transfer recruitment, with all eight of their summer signings aged 24 or under.

However, under new boss Matthias Jaissle, Newcastle are unbeaten in their opening three Premier League matches, which they preserved after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Bournemouth at St James’ Park.
Jacob Ramsey wants to ‘shut up’ Newcastle United doubters
Ramsey came off the bench to equalise in the 88th minute. Harvey Barnes pulled one back before half-time after Marcus Tavernier and a Malick Thiaw own goal put the Cherries 2-0 inside the opening 35 minutes.
Reflecting on the summer and the start to the season, Ramsey told TNT Sports: “Yeah, so much change. Losing players, new players coming in, young players with loads of potential. The signing from last season didn't quite work out. Hopefully this season, us boys can do the job.
“I think there was a lot of negativity around Newcastle in pre-season, before the season started, and hopefully we can shut them up. We've been doing that so far, but don't want to get too carried away.”
Newcastle United maintain unbeaten start to the season
Newcastle were moments away from beating Liverpool 2-1 in their Premier League opener but were undone by a late penalty before picking up their first win at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
After Bournemouth, Jaissle’s side next visit Leeds United in the Premier League but before that turn their attention to the Carabao Cup, where they travel to Championship side Millwall on Tuesday might.
Ramsey added: “Yes, to be fair, our first three games have been really good. We're lucky not to win against Liverpool, a brilliant result against Spurs and a good performance today.
“I thought in the first half we were a little bit slow, didn't keep the ball well, but second half the lads done well.”
