Victory against Aston Villa last time out lifted Eddie Howe’s side four points above the relegation zone.
And they now travel to the capital to take on David Moyes’ Hammers, who are eyeing a Champions League spot.
Howe will be without full-backs Kieran Trippier and Javier Manquillo after limping off last week.
Trippier is facing a fight to be fit again this season, while Manquillo is less serious and should be back within two weeks.
Meanwhile, summer signing Bruno Guimaraes is desperate to start after two cameo appearances from the bench against Everton and Villa.
Jamaal Lascelles is back from illness, giving Howe a big selection dilemma as he prepares to name his starting XI at the London Stadium.
Here’s the starting XI we’re predicting United’s head coach to go with:
1. GK: Martin Dubravka
Kept his third clean sheet of the season last time out. Hasn’t had much to do in recent weeks if you compare it to when he first came back into the team in November. Photo: Shaun Botterill
2. RB: Emil Krafth (in for Kieran Trippier)
No Kieran Trippier or Javier Manquillo for this game following their respective injuries, handing Krafth a chance to shine and prove his critics wrong. Photo: Stu Forster
3. CB: Fabian Schar
Schar has missed just one of Howe’s 12 games in charge and put in a warrior-like performance against Aston Villa last week. Photo: Stu Forster
4. CB: Dan Burn Was United’s man of the match on his debut last weekend, which is likely to keep Jamaal Lascelles out of the starting XI for the time being.
