The official reason why Tino Livramento is missing for Newcastle United against Hull City
Tino Livramento is among the Newcastle United players absent from the Premier League clash against Hull City.
Newcastle United are without a recognised right-back for their Premier League clash against Hull City, with Tino Livramento ruled out through injury.
The 23-year-old had been expected to make his first start of the season in the absence of £35million summer signing Amar Dedic, but is one of several key players missing from the squad due to injury.
Dedic was forced off at half-time during last week’s 1-0 Carabao Cup win at Millwall with a hamstring injury and appeared to suffer a recurrence at Leeds United on Monday night, when he was withdrawn just before the hour mark during the Magpies’ 4-1 defeat.

Livramento replaced Dedic in both matches and looked set to make his first start since April after his recent injury troubles, however isn’t involved at St James Park this afternoon. That is despite being called up to the England squad on Friday morning for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
In the pair’s absence, Lewis Miley starts at right-back.
Newcastle have confirmed to NewcastleWorld that Livramento has picked up an injury, but the exact nature of the injury is still to be revealed.
Prior to the game, Newcastle boss Matthias Jaissle confirmed Dedic, Jacob Ramsey and Nico Gonzalez had joined Joelinton, Dan Burn, William Osula and Anthony Elanga on the sidelines.
Ramsey sustained a groin injury during the pre-match warm-up, while Gonzalez picked up a head injury and misses the Hull match through concussion protocols.
Goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen was spotted back in training this week but Nick Pope keeps his place on the bench as back-up to Lukas Hornicek.
As a result, four under-21s players have been drafted into the matchday squad.
Seventeen-year-old Mason Miley keeps his place on the bench after the trip to Leeds, while Michael Mills, who also made the journey to Elland Road but wasn’t named in the matchday squad, has now been included for the first time.
Also called up to the Newcastle senior squad for the first time in the Premier League are summer arrival from Arsenal Kyran Thompson, defender Miodrag Pivas and forward Vakhtang Salia.
