There were concerns surrounding Fabian Schar’s fitness after reports in Switzerland claimed the defender had missed out on the national squad due to recurring foot pain.
The 31-year-old, however, is fine to start versus Forest and continue his centre-back partnership with summer signing Sven Botman.
There was a social media rumour that Sean Longstaff may miss out tonight after not being spotted in training photos this week but he stays in the three-man midfield alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock.
Alexander Isak retains his place in attack ahead of Callum Wilson, who is on the bench, with Jacob Murphy and Allan Saint-Maximin either side.
There’s no Miguel Almiron in the matchday squad with the Paraguayan set to miss the next three weeks with an ankle injury sustained in training.

Longstaff has become a regular in United’s three-man midfield, starting 25 matches in a row.
8. CM: Joe Willock
Willock was one of Newcastle’s standout performers against Wolves and played the pass that led to Almiron’s 79th-minute winner.
