Newcastle United's predicted starting XI against Everton - with deadline day signing missing out

Newcastle United host Everton in the Premier League tonight – and three points could lift Eddie Howe’s side out of the Premier League relegation places.

Watford and Burnley are also in action this evening after the two sides played out a 0-0 draw at Turf Moor on Saturday evening.

The visit of Frank Lampard’s Toffees, who look resurged after a 4-1 win over Brentford in the FA Cup at the weekend, is the Magpies’ first competitive game in 17 days.

Victory for United will not only bolster their survival hopes but bring Everton into the relegation dogfight by going one point behind them.

Since Newcastle beat Leeds United 1-0 last time out, Howe has added three new signings to his ranks.

Bruno Guimaraes is a hugely exciting addition from Lyon, while the arrivals of Matt Targett and Dan Burn bring plenty of top-flight experience.

Will all three start, joining Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood in the line-up? Well, we’re predicting one player to miss out.
