Newcastle United and Juventus target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly set for talks with Serie A club Lazio as he heads into the final 18 months of his current contract.
The Serbian international has become an influential figure at the Stadio Olimpico ever since he joined Lazio from Belgian club Genk in the summer of 2015. Since making that move, Milinkovic-Savic has gone on to make over 250 appearances for the Biancocelesti and helped them to a Coppa Italia win in 2019, as well as claiming two SuperCoppa Italia wins.

However, he remained in Italy and has continued his fine form with six goals and eight assists in 27 appearances in all competitions as Lazio continue to challenge for a Champions League spot.
But speculation over his future has continued in recent days with Italian outlet CalcioMercato claiming the midfielder and his agent, former Chelsea star Mateja Kezman, are set for a ‘summit’ with Lazio sporting director Igil Tare to discuss his future.
The report suggests the Serie A club would face ‘a difficult task’ to find a buying club able to meet their reported £50m asking price for Milinkovic-Savic if he is allowed to head into the final year of his current contract this summer without agreeing an extension.
