Lifelong Newcastle United fan and DJ on a stratospheric rise, Schak, will deliver a pre-match set at St. James' Park during the build-up to Tuesday's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Southampton.

The star is known for his high-energy live shows and viral DJ sets that take place in public spaces such as on the Metro and outside the cathedral on the hill.

Schak has described the news as "the biggest announcement of me life" as he too looks forward to what is the biggest Newcastle United match in decades.

Who is Schak?

Schak, real name Shakeil Luciano, is a DJ from North Shields in Tyneside who released his debut single 'Moving All Around (Jumpin')' in October 2022.

The star shot to fame with that track and viral flash mobs taking place at locations such as a B&Q, on a Metro train, the Shields ferry and more.

These trademark shows have been dubbed as 'guerilla gigs' but Schak is much more than just a public stunt DJ - he's seen love from BBC Radio 1 and is widely regarded as one of the industry's hottest prospects playing gigs across the UK.

When is Schak playing at St. James' Park?

Schak will perform a set at St. James' Park half an hour before kick-off against Southampton.

The North Shields DJ will play a 10-minute live set pitchside from 7:30 to 7:40 pm, so be sure to get into your seats early.

Newcastle United vs Southampton kicks off at 8 pm.
