One of the first instalments of the 2022 Newcastle festival schedule takes place later this month, with the 2022 edition of Lost Minds Festival.

Taking place all on one day, the festival is one big collection of some of the best electronic dance music around.

Here’s all you need to know about the festival, including who is playing, how much are tickets, and when it takes place.

When is the festival?

Lost Minds 2022 will be a full day of music which is set to take place on 30 April 2022 at Leazes Park, Newcastle.

It is set to be a true all day festival, with timings for the day scheduled to be between 12pm and 11pm.

Final entry to the festival will be 7pm.

Who is performing at Lost Minds 2022?

The line up for the festival has been announced, with acts set to perform across three stages in the park.

Dutch DJ Nikcy Romero is headlining on the festival’s main stage, along with Bristol-born trance DJ Ben Nicky.

Special guests at the festival are Israli duo Vini Vici who are due to play on the main stage of the festival.

How can I get tickets?

Tickets for Lost Minds 2022 remain on sale and can be purchased through the official website

A ticket for standard entry to the festival is £40, whilst a VIP ticket, which includes VIP entry with queue jump, access to private bathrooms and bars as well as secret sets, is £65.

Tickets for the festival’s afterparty are on sale for £10.

All ticket prices do not include booking fees.

Is there an afterparty?

An official festival afterparty is being held at the Cosmic Ballroom in Newcastle. It is due to start at 11pm, once the festival has come to a close.

Lost Minds Festival 2022 is being held in Leazes Park, located directly behind St James’ Park.

How do I get to the festival?

Due to the central location of the park, Lost Minds 2022 is easily accessible via several forms of transport.

Travel company Happy Bus is providing coaches to and from cities across the UK, from as local as Sunderland to as distant as Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The nearest Tyne and Wear Metro station is St James’ Park and Newcastle Central Station is also located nearby for people coming in on trains from outside of the region.

You’ll be able to get a metro from Central Station to St James’ Park or take a short walk to the festival site.

Is the festival cash or card?

The festival operates a token system at all stalls and kiosks, so you’ll need to buy tokens upon arrival.

Tokens can be bought using cash or card from two booths at the festival; one located by the entrance and another at the back of the main stage area.
