Comedian Russell Howard has announced a huge UK tour for 2023, with a date in Newcastle pencilled in.

The nationwide tour will see the funny man perform over 52 shows at various venues, with the tour ending down south in Portsmouth.

He is one of the biggest comedians in the UK with his shows ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and ‘The Russell Howard Hour’ proving to be successful.

As well as success on the TV, Howard is huge on social media with over nine million followers.

His recently created TikTok channel attracted over 100k followers within 48 hours of launching and is currently tracking over 1.3 million followers clocking upover 100 million views, including a video featuring a flustered Robert Irwin gaining over 9.3 million views.

When is Russell Howard performing in Newcastle?

Howard is bringing his tour to Newcastle next year for just two shows, and will be performing at the O2 City Hall on Saturday, May 13. The first show begins at 2.30pm, and the second at 6.30pm.

Tickets to see the comedian in Newcastle are on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 7) and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
