Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall reveals Greggs themed birthday cake

Little Mix icon, Jade Thirlwall had a Greggs themed birthday party in her hometown South Shields on Boxing Day.

Jade celebrated her 30th birthday in the bar that she owns in South Shields, Arbeia. The pop star partied the night away with close friends and family - while local band Two Metres Apart performed.

In an Instagram post by Jade, she revealed that her birthday party was Greggs themed, she posed in front of a shimmering gold wall, adorned with Greggs paper bags.

The post, which was a carousel of images and video, showed various snapshots of Jade’s trip home to South Shields. The photos included images from Jade’s birthday party, Jade at Christmas with her nephew, Jade visiting South Shields football club and a video of Jade getting tattooed.

The caption read: “Spent my birthday running into the North Sea for Cancer Connections followed by a South Shields FC game and a wonderful party with family and friends at Arbeia South Shields.”

She continued: “Thank you so much for all of the lovely messages and gifts. I feel so loved. Truly grateful for the people around me, and those supporting me as I embark on this next chapter of my life.”

She also showed her followers of 9.7 million, a Greggs themed cake made by Manchester cake company, Zara Cakes. The impressively decorated cake, which included photos of Jade, bakes, rolls, and cookies also had an icing character of Jade as the topper. The icing topper was created to look like Jade in the now iconic purple fancy dress costume she wore at her birthday celebrations in London earlier this month.

Greggs also provided Jade and her guests with a Greggs photo booth, to take photos in. Jade shared an adorable photo to her Instagram stories, of her niece posing in the booth, alongside other party pics.
