Mother's Day 2024: 5 restaurants in Newcastle offering Mothering Sunday meals this year

Mother’s Day is edging closer and closer, and if you’re still looking for a place to eat out this Sunday there are plenty of options across Newcastle.

We take a look at some of the menus and deals on offer.

Miller and Carter

The popular city centre steak restaurant is always offering limited edition menus for special events and this year is no different.

Available across Saturday and Sunday of the weekend, the brand's Newcastle site is offering a special menu 8oz Rossini fillet for £37.50. This includes toasted ciabatta with chicken liver and brandy parfait topped with mushrooms in truffle infused oil alongside veg and a rich red wine sauce. This is available alongside the regular a la carte menu.

All Bar One

In a change of pace, we move to All Bar One. The site is offering the chance for families to celebrate with bottomless brunch option which includes unlimited prosecco or cocktails. Bookings are available through the venue's website now.

Gino D'Acampo Restaurant

This riverside spot is promising a specially designed menu with all the family favorites, including the "perfect" Sunday roast.

The Botanist

Back up in the centre of the city, The Botanist is preparing for a big Mother's Day event with the bar and outside terrace both set to be open for the day.

The site is offering a Sunday roast, a special drink for the mams as well as live music throughout the day.

Further away from the city centre, the Badger near Ponteland is preparing a three course set menu for Mother's Day which is available across the full weekend.

The meal costs £29.50 while the standard Sunday Roasts are also available.
